About Lea Sweet
Lea Sweet, began singing at an early age in her home. Once she began singing outside her home, she found out her voice and sound created a few fans while she attended CSUS. After working at the Musicians Union, Local 47 in Hollywood, she began to write and record R&B, Country, Jazz, Neo-Soul and Rock music and eventually releasing her first album "I'm Taking Applications" and the "Black Queen of Country Music" produced in Nashville, TN along with musical support from Brooks and Dunns guitarist Troy Lamps, Armand Morales from the original Imperials, and Elvis Presley organist Jay V. Lea became a great entertainer after performing with the God Father of Soul James Brown Band in Portugal, Legendary guitarist Leroy Emmanuel in Vienna Austria, Loverboy Mike Reno in St Martin, Jimi Jamison at sold out Yoshi's Club in San Francisco, Bobby Kimball from Toto, and opening up for John Legend and Stevie Wonder.

When her mother died of cancer in 2014, she returned home to San Francisco and find an excellent way to pick herself up from grieving by joining the Motown Legends tribute band to learn all the music her mother loved like the Marvellettes, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Martha Reeves and the Vendellas, Tammy Terrell and Marvin Gaye and Tina Turner. Lea then took the tribute to another level, by becoming famous for taking off her cowgirl boots to pay tribute to Tina Turner whom inspired her to sing after watching her perform live with Ike Turner at the San Francisco 49ers Stadium. The God Father of Soul, James Brown also inspired her as she provided his transportation services to and from his concerts and Mr. Brown & Little Richard grew up with her Grandmother from Macon, GA where the music never stop.
